Each year, thousands of people acquire Canadian Citizenship and make Canada bigger and stronger. Canadian citizenship can be acquired by right of birth or by naturalization. It gives the right to people to participate in Canadian election as well as to secure high security jobs. Canadian citizens do not need to renounce their foreign citizenship because it is legal to keep dual or multiple citizenship in Canada; however, they might have to renounce their foreign citizenship due to the citizenship laws in their foreign country of citizenship.
