Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) was giving 90 days extensions to applicants who were unable to submit missing information/documents for their applications due to the pandemic. However, this automatic extension has been expired on April 11, 2021. Starting April 12, 2021, Immigration officers will issue a final 30 days deadline notice to submit missing documents/information to concerned applicants who have already submitted the applications.
Immigration Canada may return incomplete applications that are submitted on or after 12, 2021 if a reasonable explanation with proof for a missing document/information is not submitted with the application.
